"Biggest and best." "Better than ever." The statements might sound like exaggerations, but we repeatedly hear these words about our golf outings. And it's true!

In 2022, we had the biggest number of golfers (250), the longest wait list and more giveaways, on course activities, food, drinks and chances to win a vehicle than ever before.

​

Most important, we raised more funds than ever to help fight pediatric cancer! $215,000!

 

In a speech at the 2022 event, Brooke's father and Foundation co-president, Steve Healey, said:

 

"From an international reach through our membership in the DIPG/DMG Collaborative to the local level where I’m currently helping a newly diagnosed family — parents who are in the medical field and still can’t get answers — that needs help navigating the treatment options, we are making a huge difference on how DIPG is being fought and how families get help. And we are making that difference because, in part, of the donations from all of you in this room. None of this can happen without any of you.

 

So a personal thanks from me and my family, and on behalf of the dedicated team that helps run this foundation — whether you golfed, sponsored or volunteered for the first time or are here year in and year out — you are what makes the difference THANK YOU ALL!"
